Thinking Critically

Without god — Tweet of The Day

Only a handful of people –my friends– know that the majority of my analogy-tweets stem from some crazy comment by any of my mostly Christian friends and family.

This time it was my cousin who said to me that my life was surely gloomy and empty because god … was everything.

**facepalm**

god is everything? What does that even mean?

Want to favorite it or retweet it? Here’s the Twitter link.

How can god be ‘everything’ and not be perceptible in any way, let alone demonstrable! But that’s material for another tweet post.

Please, don’t miss the point, technically a glass that is full of air isn’t empty, but by definition it is, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to pour anything into it.

Think differently? Let us know in the comments. (◕‿~)✿

god works in mysterious ways – Tweet of The Day

(Want to favorite it, retweet it? Here’s the original Twitter link.)

Right, because the only explanation is “god did it”, and when god’s motives seem fishy, it must be god’s “mysterious ways”.  *facepalm*

You say “god works in mysterious ways,” what I hear is “god works in ways mysteriously similar to random probability.” @Monicks

Teach the controversy. Wait! What controversy?

Evolution is a Scientific Theory, whereas creationism is a myth, being generous it could get to be a hypothesis, at best.

The process of differentiation that leads to species is one of mutation and replication of DNA. This is not a theory, this is a scientific fact.

Read a textbook instead of ancient holy books. You will, at least, understand why a scientific theory is not just a theory.

Would you, in this era, call this a controversy?

WHAT CONTROVERSY!!?
