Take a look at this idiocy from My kind of vandals:
Atheists have been vandalizing my beliefs for years, so it’s about time the shoe was on the other foot.
I would like to extend my deepest thanks to the man or woman responsible for this vandalism. I appreciate the action you took. Thank you for reminding me that I’m not alone. It took a lot of guts to do what you did – and the fact that you haven’t stepped forward to take credit makes you a hero. It shows everyone that you are more devoted to the message than you are to the spotlight. I encourage you to keep your cover. Don’t give the secular world a reason to call your name; instead, let them call for our God.
How have atheists vandalized fundies beliefs, is beyond me. If it suits their ridiculous beliefs then vandalism and violence are a good thing. And then she complains about her rights as a Christian being disrespected by atheists.
Another fine example of religious intolerance and lack of common sense.

I wonder if, had an atheist done this, she’d call this “courage” or “cowardice”. Regardless, what a crazy way of overturning a history of brave Christians. Can one imagine Martin Luther proclaiming “Here I hide, I can do no other”?
Also, regarding “To heck with”: Pretty sure this is one of those times when the author really did mean “to hell”.
You shouldn’t be too surprised – it’s the same thing they did to the original pledge – they graffiti’d it too with the same words.
Like all religious persons whoever added to this sign was so afraid people wouldn’t notice there was no ‘under god’ there that they had to add it. Whoever added to the sign must have thought everyone else was too dumb to notice what they had noticed. That’s typical of a religious persons superior attitude.
It takes a constant incessant bullying of religion to keep the flock in line. After all, if you’re part of a herd that believes there’s an invisible man in the sky you’ll fall for anything so the shepherd is always on guard by necessity least the flock lose its way out of the shepherds cntrl and begin to think for themselves.
What’s wrong with them? They’re a bunch of thugs who can’t stand to have their privilege questioned or challenged.
