Bible really a give us views about God that somehow teaches us to become mature spiritually and do righteous that will somehow please God. In the olden days, Bible characters really did well to worship God.
Remember when those crazy christians in florida wanted to burn the Koran? Atheists should have got together and burned some bibles, but then again atheists have common sense so they wouldn’t do something that stupid. F*** the bible.
“No one” likes KJV for the same raeson “no one” likes Shakespeare.Of course, I’m not saying the KJV sucks or anything, just that not everyone reads KJV and because of that, KJV shouldn’t be the only free translation.

Don’t forget rape (Deuteronomy 22:28-29). A man wants a woman to marry him. No problem. Rape her and she’ll have to marry you.
What about selling your daughter into slavery (Exodus 21:7)? That’s OK as long as you don’t sell her to a foreigner.
